Clifford began his golfing career at the age of 7 years of age at Seaton Carew Golf Club. He bacame a trainee assistant under Bill Hector going on to qualify as a PGA Professional in 1995.

Throughout his career Clifford has gained experience working abroard in Italy and America at Greg Norman's first public golf course in Ohio,

Clifford is a PGA level 3 Coach and has taught golfers of all standards from beginners to professionals. He is trained on the "Explanar" and the David Leadbetter coaching system. Clifford is striving to increase his knowledge and skills by continuing to attend professional development seminars and workshops.

From 14th April, Clifford has appointed Carol Radigan to assist with the day to day running of the Shop and Golf Club Operations with the view for an Assistant to join the team in the near future.

Since taking on the new role Clifford is looking forward to an exciting and challenging career at Seaton Carew and hopes to develop the opportunities for junior golf that was given to him at such an early age.
