Pro-Tip
One of the most exciting holes at Seaton Carew. A sharp dogleg right Par 5 that challenges a player to decide whether they want to play straight down the immediate fairway, or to aim out right and hit over the bushes effectively cutting the corner of the hole. When playing the hole as a three shot Par 5, the hole pulls you into trying to get as close to the green as possible in two, however the fairway significantly narrows up towards the green and a large fairway bunker lies in wait around 50 yards short. A long and aggressive tee shot can leave an approach with a medium iron, presenting a real opportunity for a rare eagle three. The green itself is protected by bushes tight right and a deep pot bunker front left. The lie of the land in front of this green tends to take the ball around to left away from the bushes, however this only encourages short balls to be gathered into the aforementioned greenside bunker.
