Arguably one of the toughest holes on the golf course. A long, slight dogleg right Par 4, to a fiercely protected and elevated green. A good tee shot would be a slight fade down the centre of the fairway, generally leaving a medium or long iron to the green. With good card in hand, or in inclement weather, a player must decide whether to go for the green in two, or lay up 30 yards short right of the green, leaving an almost certain pitch and two putt for bogey or chance for par. The green is pear shaped, narrow at the front and wide at the back with at least a 3 foot change in elevation between the two sections. Playing aggressively towards a front flag leaves a margin of error no wider than 3 yards left or right. There is a greater margin of error for flags located on the wider back section of the green, however players must remember to take extra club to get the ball up to this elevated surface.
