Welcome to Seaton Carew Golf Club, where you can walk in the footsteps of golfing legends like Harry Vardon, J H Taylor, James Braid and Walter Hagen, on holes designed by two of the game's renowned architects, Dr Alister MacKenzie and Frank Pennink.
Founded in 1874, we are the 10th oldest course on the country and one of the 50th oldest in the world providing a true links challenge for all golfers throughout the whole year. A course of nearly 7000 yards off the championship tees provides a test for even the best golfer but one that is also inviting for the more regular club golfer.
To match the superbly presented course the club offers a welcoming atmosphere with excellent hospitality in the recently refurbished clubhouse and professional shop. Seaton Carew Golf Club is a special place to play golf and to relax with friends and family where people matter and traditions count.
During its 136 year history Seaton Carew has played host to a number of prestigious national tournaments including the Brabazon Trophy in 1985, the Carris Trophy in 1996 and the British Mid Amateur Championship in 2001.
The Club recently played host to golfers, from across the United Kingdom, who were competing in our ever-popular Seaton Festival. This week-long event included a variety of competitions for both male and female players of all ages and abilities.

What's happening at Seaton Carew GC
The 14th Annual Festival of golf has come to a happy end. We have enjoyed making all our visitors welcome and look forward to seeing everyone again next year. If you would like to join us then the entry form for 2011 is available here.
