Maintaining standards

Seaton Carew Golf Club aims to operate a modern and forward thinking dress code policy. It is in all our interests to maintain reasonable standards of casual but smart dress in keeping with golfing traditions. Golfers at Seaton Carew are therefore asked to adhere to the following rules on the golf course, practice ground and in the clubhouse.

On the Course (including practice ground & putting green):
Smart, recognised golfing attire, worn in the correct manner.
Denim Jeans are not permitted.
Shirts must have sleeves & collars or turtle necks, and must be tucked in.
Football/Rugby type shirts & tops with hoods are not permitted.
Tailored shorts are acceptable, however denim or beach types are not.
Golf shoes must be worn on the course, practice ground & putting green.

In the Clubhouse:
All shirts, polo shirts must have sleeves & collars or turtle necks.
Denim jeans are permissible but must not be torn or work wear.
Training shoes, golf shoes, work boots or flip-flops are not permitted.
Waterproof clothing should be avoided and is not permitted if dirty or wet.
Head wear is not permitted.

(Membership category J2 are exempt from various dress code rules).

Visitors between 09:00-17:00 weekdays & 12:00-17:00 weekends. Bookable 5 days in advance. Clubhouse open for food & drinks. Locker Rooms open for toilets & storage of clubs. PLEASE NOTE: We are in Local Lockdown therefore only family members from the same household may sit together indoors. Face covering must be worn inside the Clubhouse except when seated.
