2021 Seaton Salver Results

A great win for Boldon's Gavin Nesbit

The 2021 Seaton Salver was a great success with a full field of some of the region's finest golfers participating. A thick sea fret meant that the competition got underway half an hour later than planned, but once it cleared the players were treated to a mixture of sunny spells interspersed with rolling mist brought in by a moderate breeze. Slick greens along with some thought provoking pin placements made low scoring difficult and only a few players managed to break par. The eventual winner of a closely fought competition was Gavin Nesbit, from Boldon Golf Club, who managed to hold off the challenges of Shipley's Max Berrisford and Thomas Harbord from Castle Eden. Our thanks to all the competitors and their supporters and to our team of willing volunteers, along with our wonderful greenkeeping and catering teams.
