Seaton Carew Golf Club's Festival of Golf attracts more than 1,000 players Seaton Carew Golf Club's annual Festival of Golf attracted more than 1,000 golfers from across the UK to the historic links – and organisers have said ‘thank you’ to those who took part. 2025 Seaton Salver This year’s Seaton Salver, which was held on Saturday 7th June, was probably one of the closest fought in the event’s long history. Northern Golfer England Golf has selected Seaton Carew Golf Club to host the Under-16 international match between England and Spain this spring. The event will take place April 5-6 with the elite teams of boys and girls going head-to-head over four rounds – with foursomes matches each morning followed by singles matches in the afternoons. Players will compete over the Micklem layout at Seaton, which welcomed the best male and female golfers in the country in 2024 for the English Amateur Championship.
